Our Vision

We envision a world where men stand shoulder to shoulder with women to end human trafficking and domestic violence, leading by example and redefining strength through love, faith, and protection.

WHY WE EXIST.

Human trafficking and domestic violence are often fueled by unhealthy masculinity, silence, and cultural tolerance for abuse. Real Men Protect exists to call men into the arena — to use their strength for good, to stand against exploitation, and to be protectors in their homes, schools, and communities.

The average age of a trafficked child is just 12 years old. One in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Most offenders are male — which means men hold the power to change this narrative.

WE ARE CALLING ON MEN TO:

  • Protect women, children, and families in their communities.
  • Educate young men on healthy masculinity, consent, and respect.
  • Speak out against exploitation, abuse, and harmful behaviors.
  • Stand with women already leading the fight.
  • Model strength through faith, empathy, and accountability

Men’s involvement in the prevention of human trafficking cannot be overlooked. Men have a unique role to play in bringing awareness to this crime, stopping this crime, and engaging other men to take part as well. Real Men Protect does just that. We need the efforts of Real Men Protect, and others to serve as an example of how young men, Fathers, and men in general should participate in ending this crime.

Men’s involvement in protecting others from human trafficking is a critical element to overall safety for young people here in NC. By encouraging men to stand up and pitch in, Real Men Support is bringing an important and meaningful element to the fight against domestic human sex trafficking.

Men, have you considered how your little girl would feel if she were abducted by a Trafficker? Men have a critical role in bringing awareness and STANDING UP as Allies in the fight against human trafficking. Be a Leader by calling out unacceptable, inappropriate language, jokes or interactions. Men are the traffickers, men are the buyers, men are the perpetrators. Now is the time to be a part of the SOLUTION!

JR Croston |Retired Wells Fargo HR Executive -Fields of Hope Board Chair

I fully endorse the work of Real Men Protect. Men are systemic to the problem of sex trafficking and therefore men are systemic to the solution. According to the Demanding Justice Report, 99% of sex buyers are men. Only through educating men will we slow down this epidemic within the U.S. This organization understands the importance of bringing men to the fight to end demand for prostituted people.  We appreciate the work of this group.
