Youth for Hope (Y4H) equips high school and college students to lead peer-to-peer human trafficking awareness and prevention clubs in their schools, churches, and community centers. Created by educators and specialists, the Y4H curriculum empowers youth to protect themselves, educate their friends, and be leaders against sex trafficking.
Each club is run by a dedicated student leader with the help of their Y4H Coach and Adult Advisor. The student leader is trained by their Coach and presents the Y4H curriculum to their peers throughout the year. Students put together awareness events and fundraise for survivors and anti-trafficking efforts.
Since 2014, Youth for Hope (formerly known as Youth4Abolition), has impacted thousands of teenagers and young adults in the Carolinas and beyond. Youth for Hope chapters have expanded across several states, engaging over 15,000 teens and young adults, including outreach to middle schools students.
